Oh! Susanna
Stephen Foster · arranged by guitarnotation
How to play it
- Bar 1 is an introduction: a bass C, then the pickup “I come” as two eighth notes on C and D. Bars 5 and 13 do the same: the long note of “knee” and “me”, then the pickup for the next line.
- The verse (bars 2 to 9) stays between C and A on the top two strings; the A is the fifth fret of the first string.
- The chorus starts in bar 10, “Oh! Susanna”, on a half note F at the first fret of the first string.
