How to play it

  • Bars 1 and 2 are the same: two quarter notes and a half note, all on the open first string.
  • In bars 3 and 11 the C is a dotted quarter. Hold it for a beat and a half, then play the D quickly, just before the next bar. Bars 5 and 13 have the same rhythm on F.
  • To strum along instead, play the chords above the staff, C, F, D7 and G7, one strum per beat.
